This page sets out the method in full so the ranking can be argued with.

Step one — open and fund. A real account, real money, ordinary player details. Deposit the operator's minimum rather than the amount that unlocks the largest match.

Step two — verify before playing. Photo identification and a proof of address, uploaded on day one. This removes the biggest variable from every later withdrawal.

Step three — read the terms and record four numbers. Rollover multiple and whether it applies to bonus or deposit-plus-bonus. Maximum cashout on bonus winnings. Game weighting. Maximum bet permitted while wagering.

Step four — check the licence on the register. Not the seal in the footer. The licence number has to resolve on the issuing regulator's own site.

Step five — record the ceilings. Daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal limits, because on a win of any size these matter more than payout speed.

Step six — withdraw at least twice, on different days including a weekend, logging approval time and settlement time separately.

What is deliberately not measured. Game count, which is a marketing number. Customer service friendliness, which is not reproducible. Anything that would require inventing a score. High-stakes behaviour is also outside what this testing covers — every deposit behind this site is a recreational amount, and large sums attract extra review everywhere.
